This is where we began, in 2014:
(so much has changed, since then...)
The Sacred Beauty project is neither an institute, nor a foundation, nor any kind of formal organization whatsoever. It is not affiliated with any academic institution. It has no formal ecclesial status. It has no endowment, no budget, no staff paid or unpaid. Donations to the project are not tax-exempt. If any of this changes, we will gladly share that information.
What the Sacred Beauty project is, is people (and one unforgettable cat, named Alvarez). We are philosophers, theologians, musicians, artists, liturgists; we meet in a private home, on a private basis, out of love for God and for His Beauty, out of respect for our tradition, for thought, for art and for one another, under the gracious patronage of St. Peter Julian Eymard. We share fellowship, beautiful food, festivity, prayer, study and discussion, in a climate of recollection, courtesy and joy. If you would like to join us - in person, online, on our mailing list or merely by reading our transcripts - please enter your information on the Contact page. We will be in touch.
